Ludwig Menzel

Ludwig Menzel is a silversmith based in Berlin, known for his exceptional craftsmanship. After training at Zeichenakademie Hanau from 1986 to 1990, he worked for a decade with Hermann Jünger in Munich before opening his own studio in Berlin in 1997. His work has been showcased in both national and international exhibitions, highlighting his skill and artistic vision.

Menzel has received several prestigious awards, including third place at the 18th International Silver Triennale in Hanau (2017), second place at the Hammerclub competition (2016), and first place at the 19th Zeughausmesse for Applied Art in Berlin (2015).

His work is featured in galleries across Germany, including Galerie Brigitte Berndt in Regensburg, Galerie Anna Pirk in Rottach-Egern, Galerie Jürgen Prüll in Weiden, and Galerie Werner Hermsen in Wiesbaden, where his unique silversmithing is celebrated by collectors and art enthusiasts alike.
